Welcome Back to On the Edge!

In the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, you’ll discover On the Edge Gallery - a welcoming, nonprofit, member-run and owned gallery featuring the work of more than 40 talented, juried artists. With its ever-changing mix of styles and mediums, the gallery draws over 20,000 visitors and collectors each year, all looking for something unique and meaningful. While my jewelry is not currently featured on the gallery’s website, it is still under construction and will be updated soon.
Established over 14 years ago and located at 7045 E. Main Street, it has been my pleasure to be a contributing member for more than 10 wonderful years. It’s a place I’m truly proud to be part of.
Here are a few of our artists and their creative artwork.

This is Darcy Borg. She works in acrylics, creating beautiful pieces that blend geometric patterns with animal-inspired organic shapes. This particular work in progress will ultimately become a collaboration with an artist from Pennsylvania - someone she connected with on Instagram after inquiring about a song she heard on his Reels. What a fun and unexpected idea! I hope I get to see the finished collab!
Below is more of her interesting work involving both her geometric shapes and animals.

All artists are required to work in the gallery a certain number of days each month, depending on the size of their space. They also serve on a committee - whether scheduling, record keeping, marketing, maintenance, or jurying.
By the way, Darcy, who has a background in film and editing, also filmed my video, which you can find on my About page.

Introducing Esmeralda Piza, who creates fine art miniatures in watercolor. Once a traditional painter, Esme now has a demanding full-time job that takes her across the country. To continue her artistic pursuits, she needed something she could work on during her downtime - hence her beautifully detailed watercolor miniatures.

She travels with a tiny watercolor palette, a color wheel, and a collection of miniature brushes. Each of her small paintings has an “origin” story, inspired by the people she meets along the way. Esme is also very well-versed in Instagram and has guided me with my own account.

One of the most interesting and charismatic artists at On the Edge is EA “Beth” Hain-Meranto. Beth has been part of the Scottsdale arts scene for nearly 40 years, both working in and owning galleries. She brings a deep knowledge and rich history of the Old Town Scottsdale arts district - an incredible asset to On the Edge.
Beth has a natural gift for welcoming clients into the gallery and enthusiastically promoting each artist’s work. I consider her one of the very best advocates for all of us - and she certainly sells my jewelry!

Beth’s own work, which hangs in collections across the country, features paintings of the desert Southwest. Working in oil, she captures the rich colors and light of the landscape - what she beautifully describes as “the colors and majesty of God’s world.” Her pieces reflect both a deep appreciation for the natural environment and years of experience observing it.

This artist - owned gallery brings together a diverse group of artistic people who share their knowledge through workshops and techniques, benefiting both artists and clients alike. It’s a place of creativity, connection, and ongoing inspiration - one I’m truly grateful to be part of.
