Dart for Art
I'm in Northern Michigan for my annual summer shows—a refreshing change from Phoenix that I look forward to every year. On Wednesday, July 9, and Thursday, July 10, the Petoskey Crooked Tree Arts Center will host its premier summer fundraiser, Dart for Art, in downtown Bay Harbor Village. This vibrant two-day event raises over 25% of CTAC’s annual budget, supporting a variety of free and affordable art programs that bring creativity and culture to the Traverse City and Petoskey communities. This year, my contribution to the silent auction is a pendant and earrings set. The necklace features an oval emerald suspended from a hand-crafted, reticulated sterling silver pendant, accented with 14k gold fill wire and 22k gold. The matching earrings are reticulated sterling silver discs set with faceted green topaz.
My husband Kris and I are looking forward to the event—connecting with fellow artists and guests, sampling drinks and appetizers from local chefs, and browsing all the wonderful offerings in the silent auction. Here are my upcoming shows and dates in Michigan:
The 39th Annual Petoskey Art in the Park takes place on Saturday, July 19, from 10 AM to 5 PM in Pennsylvania Park. This popular event features 120 artist booths from around the country.
The following weekend, on Saturday, July 26, I’ll be showing at the 64th Annual Crooked Tree Art Fair at the Grand Traverse County Civic Center, alongside 100 other juried artists. The fair runs from 9 AM to 4 PM.
If you are in Northern Michigan in July, I’d love for you to stop by and say hello!
